1. What is your latest book about?
A – To Die Once is actually my debut book. It’s about a young woman, Jennifer, who falls in love with a man different than she expected, and for the wrong reason. This, of course, changes their lives forever, as there are consequences to decisions. It’s inspirational romance suspense.
2. What is the inspiration behind your book?
A – Funny enough, there isn’t anything particular that lead me to write this book. I think a bunch of books and movies that I’d read and seen over time came together and conspired to create a story. That honestly is the best explanation I can come up with. Haha!!
3. What’s your favorite scene in your book? Can you describe the scene?
A – I’m not sure I have a favorite scene, but there’s one (actually, more than one, but I’ll settle for this one) that keeps fondling my mind. Jennifer and Stefano are relaxed on a picnic mat by a certain pond having an interesting, but casual conversation. The other scene I thought of putting out here has the major and most important plot twist, so I dare not mention it for risk of a spoiler!
4. Imagine you are trapped on a deserted island. Which character would you prefer to be stuck with, and why?
A – Okaaaay. I’ll put on my good girl gloves and go for Chidi. No! Don’t ask me to explain that! 😉
5. What makes your book stand out from all the others on the market?
A – The story isn’t the regular romance where boy meets girl and they embark on a rollercoaster journey that shows how they eventually fall in love and ride into the sunset. Nope! This is a story where two people fall in love, get married, and then the story is actually just beginning.
6. What do you want to resonate with readers when they read “The End”?
A – God’s grace offers healing and redemption, and will always give you another chance in life.
1. Coffee or chocolate? You can only choose one!
A – Coffee!
2. Favorite movie or TV show?
A – Goodness! There are a bunch of them. But right now, I’m crazy about Arrow.
3. Book that made you laugh hysterically, shed tears, or want to change the world?
A – A bunch of those too! The number one on my list now is Supergal vs God by Lori Hynson.
4. If you could write in any other genre, what would it be? Why?
A – Fantasy, please!! Well, it let s you create a world without boundaries where ANYTHING can happen, and EVERYTHING is possible. You’ve gotta love that!
5. What was the first romance novel you ever read?
A – I truly wish I could remember the title. Been racking my brain for it! I remember the author, I think … Norma Jean Lutz?
6. What do you think is the most important element a book needs to be successful?
A – A good story. Simple, but not easy!
7. How can readers connect with you and learn more about your writing? (Be sure to include social media links!)
Thank you so much for having me, Katherine!
