The Publication Train Keeps Rolling

I am onto my fourteenth publication! My poem, “String of Stars,” shall be published in the Fall 2012 issue of Apollo’s Lyre. Since this is an online journal, I shall provide a link for when it is published.

I am excited with my continued success! For all those who continue to read my posts or are stopping by my site for the first time, I hope one can see that passion and determination will often lead to the fruition of dreams. Please, continue with your endeavors! Dreams can come true. Mine is coming along well. Some may say I am overly optimistic, but I believe anything can happen if one wills it.

    1. Take that envy and try to publish your own work. That is partially what helped me work up the nerve to submit my work. Now I am addicted to magazine submissions. 🙂 Thank you. I wish you the best.

  1. Stay triumphant Katherine. I too am starting my journey to raise awareness and get my thoughts and words to inspire those suffering and who may need it the most

  2. Congratulations on your success! This is my first time here but you can bet that I’ll be back. Added to your follower list!

  3. This is probably going to be the silliest question that you have ever been asked, but I’ll still ask anyway. I enjoy writing and usually write as a hobby. Yet, a lot of people have been telling me that my work is good enough to be published. Although I’ve always wanted to be a published writer, I’ve never really thought about how to become one and when I searched on the net I didn’t get any positive results. Do you have any tips?

  4. As someone who’s only just discovered my ‘voice’ I’m heartened by this kind of thing. I don’t write for adulation or publication (well, maybe not 100%!) but its still nice to know that normal people like you and I are capable of this kind of success. Well done 🙂

    1. Everyone is capable of success! Many of the authors who seem like giants in the publishing industry have started out as regular people. It is just up to the regular person to try and make their self extraordinary.
