Purpose of this blog.

Okay, I am a struggling writer. Becoming a novelist, poet, and short story writer has always been a great dream of mine. I have a few publications, but nothing that gives me the right to brag. So, the purpose of this blog is to get my writing noticed. To come right out and say it, if any professionals in the publishing industry are interested in my writings, please contact me! Don’t get me wrong. I would love to get some notoriety, but I also hope that the average reader enjoys what I have to offer. Let’s face it. As a writer I want to be read. So read and enjoy!

  1. Hi, thank you for checking out my blog. i also am interested in writing. I was a member of Florida Writers Association (FWA) and Romance Writers of America (RWA) with a local Tampa chapter (TARA). I went to several meetings over the course of a few years. I found it very rewarding. The groups teach you a lot, they have guest speakers such as editors, writers, publishers and whomever else they can get to help out the writers. You might want to try that. There is a membership fee to belong to these groups but it is well worth it. They have book signings, conferences, networking, it’s all there available within the groups. I have learned a lot and hope to continue learning more. So keep at it and surround yourself with people that are interested in the same thing. Good luck.
